A new preschool building for the Preschool Group located in the grounds of Stonham Aspal School and designed to follow deep green principles throughout.
The building has a carbon minus footprint and very low environmental impact. Materials are sourced locally, the building is heated using locally grown wood chip, water is heated by solar panels, toilets are flushed with recycled rainwater and sewage is treated in an on-site reed bed. A generous covered outdoor space allows the children to learn and play outdoors in contact with nature, the elements and their own vegetable garden.
