StudioMGM’s first objective is to mimimise energy consumption in buildings achieved by:
- Designing our buildings to shelter them from the wind
- Orientating our buildings to capture the sun
- Insulating our buildings to a high degree
- Incorporating thermal mass to store daytime heat or night-time coolness
- Using natural ventilation and incorporating summer shading
Our second objective is to use fuels efficiently and to use green fuels wherever possible.
We can offer clients expert advice about biomass heating, solar water heating, heat pumps and electricity generation from photovoltaic cells and wind turbines.
